LYSOL POISONING. By Cable—Press Asaociation—Copyright Auckland, Thursday. Miss Fisher, about 30 years of age, who boarded at Grafton road, was receive* into the hospital this morning suffering from lysol poisoning, and died shortly afterwards. BOTO BODY FOUND. Auckland, Last Night. The body of the boy Kennedy, who was drowned when bathing in the Waikato on Saturday, Ims been found on a sand bank about three miles below Huntly.

EX-MARINER'S DEATH. Dunedin, Lasfc Night. An inquest was held to-day on the body of Jonathan Mcllvoy, who died at Naseby Hospital yesterday morning. The evidence showed that deceased was a native of Liverpool, where he leaves a wife and son. He was formerly, a master mariner, but lately had been engaged on a sheep station in Otago repairing horse covers and harness. He was about sixty years of age and addicted to drink. Deceased apparently had fallen over a six-foot bank and lain on the road all night. The medical evidence was to the effect that deceased died from pneumonia, aggravated by exposure and drink, 'and a verdict to that effect was returned.

DEATH FROM EFFECTS OF A FALL.

'Dunedin, Last Night. An inquest was held to-day on the body of Charles Ayers, who died on Tuesday in consequence of injuries received through, fulling off a ladder in Hudson's Biscuit Factory on September 21. Medical evidence showed that deceased made good progress until the 7th hist. Two days later he was operated on, and complications were found. The patient returned to the ward in a collapsed condition, and died on the following day. The cause of death was intestinal obstruction and shock. Other evidence showed that deceased fell while replacing a belt on a pulley. The third rung of the ladder from the bottom had given way on one side, about 2ft. 6in. or 3ft. from the ground. The Coroner (Mr. Graham) returned a verdict that death was due to shock from internal injuries received in accidentally falling off a ladder, no blame being attachable to anvone. '
