I The Court of Directors of the Royal Humane Society of New Zealand has made the following awards:— 4 Silver medal to Charles A. Cowan, for rescuing Jas. McLeod from drowning at Auckland, February 3, 1911; silver medal to Geo. H. V'oycc, for rescuing Thos. H. Gardiner from drowning at Lyttelton, July 22, 1911; broiue medal to Clarence C. V. iDavies, for rescuing A. S. Mcl'hail ami John D. Connel] from drowning at Waingongoro Beach on April 2, 1911; framed certificate to Cecil Ellison, for rescuing William Carlew and Alfred Hart froin : drowning at Wellington on May 14, 1911; certificate to Albert Dent, for rescuing Harold Payne from drowning at Whangarei on June 2G, 1911; certi" iicade ito Kenneth G. B. McLean, for rescuing Geo. Nixon from drowning at Auckland on November 30, 1910.
