THE TARANAKI SHOW.
. It is quite evident that some attraction or_other is not far away as the tradesmen's horses and general hacks and harness liorses about the town and country are getting in fine buckle for the Taraiuiki Show to be held on November 22 and 23.
The secretary of the society is being kept busy with inquiries regarding all classes of stock for competition at the spring show. This should be very gratifying to the committee, as it points to the most successful show ever held in Taranaki. ■Local dog fanciers are looking forward with keen interest to the forthcoming show, and as the number of good dogs in and around New Plymouth is something tremendous we expect to see the greatest show of dogs ever exhibited in the Dominion. The,exceptional inducements offered by the show by way of cash and cups for the jumping events to take place at the forthcoming show are bringing to light such old time hunters as Alpine and many others that have 'been oil tho tracks of show rings for some years past.
