DISPERSAL SALE.
MR. T. LUXTON'S PEDIGREE AND GRADE JERSEYS. The sale which Mr. Newton King is holding at Waitara road to-day on" account of Mr. Thomas Luxton is causing considerable interest among the Taranaki farmers, especially the pedigree Jersey 'fanciers. Besides his tsplcndid herd of 80 grade Jersey dairy cows, some 17 pedigree animals will be offered. These comprise the pick of the Jersey stout in the Dominion, Mr. Luxton having spared no expense in obtaining only tin best butter-fat producing- cattle obtainable. At JlossM's. Griffiths and Cornwall's dispersal sale the highest priced cow. "Grannie's Girl," wmit to swell his h«rd., a,s also did that other noted cow, "Ma-iny First.' From time to time Mr. Luxton has secured other splendid animals until ke now possesses some of the best strains of milk and butter-fat producing Jerseys in the Dominion. The young cattle are fine, upstanding animals and on breeding lines could not be bettered. A look at these youngsters will convince anyone with any knowledge-of Jerseys of their good qualities. The grade .stock are a choice lot, and with the present unsatisfied demand for this class of cattle, should find a very keen market.
