FOUND DEAD. By Telegraph—Press Association. Timarii, Last Night. The body of a man named O'Shea, aged about sixty, was found on the rocks on the harbor beach this morning. The skull was smashed and the neck broken. It is supposed he had been dead for hours. Little is known of the deceased. A MISSING WOMAN. Blenheim, Last Night. No trace has yet been found of Mrs. Eyes, missing from Raifalls since Monday. Dragging operations were carried out in Pelorus river yesterday, but without avail. Jt is feared that the body has been carried by the swollen river into the Sound, and little hopes are entertained of its recovery. A SUDDEN DEATH. Dunedin, Last Night. Thos. Omand died suddenly at Port Chalmers this morning. Ho 'resided at the Lower Harbor, and had driven into town. He was just about to return home, when he fell forward in his trap, and when picked, up was dead. Death was due to heart disease. Deceased, who was (10 years of age, was a gold digger, and had resided in the district for 49 years. AN OLD MAN'S SUICIDE.

Chriatchurcli, Last Night. Mr. H. W. Bishop, District Coroner, held an inquest at Allendale this afternoon on Richard Edward Harris, 00 years of age. The evidence of the son of the deceased' was to the effect that the other members of the family missed deceased after breakfast on Thursday morning and were unable to get any trace of him. Witness returned from Lyttelton on Thursday night, and yesterday, when he went to the paddock, he found his father hanging dead from a tree at the lmck of the shed. A verdict of suicide whilst in a state of unsound mind was recorded.
