GRAND JUNCTION MINE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Waihi, September 20. During the four-weekly period ended September 9, the Grand Junction crushed and treated 8600 tons of ore for a return valued at £12,175. The total bullion won to date is £492,908, dividends paid, £200,000. A report has been cabled to London that the shaft is down to No. C level of the Empire lode, which is worth in various winzes, £3 Os to £4 10s. The Mary lode is now up to the Waihi Extended boundary. The value at this point is £1 12s i)d . The shaft in the Waihi Extended is down to 1100 ft., and preparations are being made to open up a new level.
