THE GREATEST NATION
PRAISE FOR GERMANY. RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION THE SECRET. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, September 11. Archbishop Kelly, while blessing the convent at Guildford, declared that Germany was the greatest nation in the world, and only recently she gave England a fright. In Germany they sent religious instructors to every school. If Australia wished to be great she must imitate the leading nation, one that was overtaking England in commerce and naval supremacy. When children received religious instruction industrial strife would end and the divorce courts would disappear. The archbishop lamented the fact that there were no Roman Catholic countries.
