London, September 10. bluejackets, armed with ball cartridges, are guarding the dock gates at Barrow, for the purpose of preventing the water being let out, whereby the warships might be grounded and damaged. The precautions are due to the alleged presence of foreign spies. The police protecting the Vickers, Maxim works have beei reinforced.
