NEW SUBMARINE
CHEAP AXD EFFECTIVE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 12, 1 a.m. Melbourne, September 1.1. Docron, a Victorian resident, has invented a combined submarine torpedo boat, with an indicator, which, he claims, improves navigability and also indicates the exact position of the enemy when submerged. The total cost of the boat is not more than £SOOO and can be handled by a crew of five.
The Defence Department has ordered a full investigation.
