o IXCLEWOOD BOWLING CLUB. The annual meeting of the members of the above club was held on Monday evening, when there were twenty-one members present. The annual report stated that the following competitions were got off during the season:—Champion singles( 21' entries), Mr. J. Wilson; champion pairs (11 entries), Messrs. Allen and Sutherland; novice (7 entries), Mr. Ballantyne. The following club matches were played during the season: New Plymouth 4, Fitzroy 2, Waitara 2, Eltham 1, Hawera 3, Stratford 2, West End 3, Patea 1, Wanganui 1; total 19. Won 13, lost 6. It was decided: "Tliat it be a recommendation to the committee to ascertain through the Taranaki liowling Association whether it would ho possible to formulate a scheme for holding district tanner competitions. The election of office-bearers resulted: President. Mr. Percival (re-elected): vice-president, Dr. Hislop; secretary and treasurer. Mr. H. Humphrey (re-elected); committee, Messrs. (J. It. Taylor, Coldwell, Allan and F. Spurdle; selection committee, same as committee.—Record.
