A MINE ON FIRE
TEN MEN FATALLY BURNED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 26, 12.30 a.m. New York, August 25. The Giroux Consolidated mines at Eley, Nevada, are afire. Ten men were fatally burned. Many dashed through the flames in an effort to reach the surface, but others were cut off instantly from rescue. The fire was due to an explosion, the cause of which is unknown.
