A FILIBUSTERING STEAMER
SEIZED AT GRAVESEND. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 26, 12.5 a.m. London, August 25. The Customs authorities at Gravesend seized a steamer fitted with munitions of war and also with wireless telegraphy, and amply provisioned. The captain declined to give any information, but it is surmised the steamer was intended for river service in some South American Republie.
