TRAMS FOR NAPIER.
LOAN PROPOSALS CARRIED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. A poll of ratepayers was taken to-day upoii proposals to borrow £IO,OOO for the drainage of the low-lying lands in the borough, and a further sum of £15,000 for the construction and installation of works for electric lighting and electric tramways. Both proposals were carried.
