Contralto vocal solo (amateur), posBible marks (SO: Miss Ivy Swan (Wanganui), 48, ]'; Miss Amy Crane (Halcombe), 43, 2. " Church choirs, possible marks 70: W«bIcy Church Choir. Feildim? (conductor, H. Temple White). 50, 1 ; St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Hastings (conductor, Percy W. Tombs), 44, 2. Grand Choral contest, maximum marks 70—Feilding Wesleyan Choir (conductor Mr. H. Temple White) «l marks, 1; Hastings Harmonic Society (conductor Mr. E. V. Hudson) 58, 2. Ladies' humorous recital (amateur), maximum marks 100.—Miss Doreem D'Authreau (Auckland) 86, 1; Miss Elsie M.
