BURGLARY IN WELLINGTON. ] By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning Messrs. Huddart, Parker and Co.'s premises were broken into and Cl.jO stolen. One hundred pounds of this money belonged to a society represented by one of the company's clerks. An entrance to the premises was made through a fanlight over the back passage. SIR JOSEPH WARD. Wellington, Last Night. The Rua-pehu is expected to arrive hero at 4 o'clock on Friday afternoon. The Prime Minister and 1 party will be met on the vessel in the stream by the Citizens' Reception Committee, and Sir Joseph Ward will be invited to attend a reception at the Town Hall from 7 to fl p.m., and will afterwards be entertained' at supper in the concert chamber of the Town Hall. The Mayor of Wellington, Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.P., -will preside. SOUSA'S BAND. Palmerston North, Last. Night, j Sousa's Band gave two performances to good houses to-day.
