ETHEL BRADLEY'S DEATH
JACK DISCHARGED AND REARRESTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Harry Alexander Jack appeared before the Supreme Court to-day charged with the murder of Ethel May Bradley on February 7. Evidence on lines similar to that called in the case against Sadler at the last sessions of the court was adduced by the Crown Prosecutor. His Honor directed the jury to find a verdict of "not guilty," as the evidence did not exclude the reasonable hypothesis that the woman's death was due to poison self-administered. The jury, without leaving the box, found Jack not guilty, and immediately afterwards Jack was re-arrested on a charge of perjury.
