FOUND DROWNED. ' ' » By Telegraph—Press Association. Carterton, Friday. An inquest was held yesterday on the body of iFanny Francis Goodin, who was found drowned in a creek at Dak-field, before the coroner, Mr. J. T. M. Hornsby. Deceased, aged 00, was the wife of Robert Goodin, farmer, Dalefield. She had wandered into a shallow creek and drowned herself in six inches of water. A verdict was returned to the effect that she committed suicide while temporarily insane. A BODY FOUND. J : Gisborne, Last Night. A body found in the Waiapu river is supposed to be that of William Douglas, a young man who has been missing recently. INFANT'S BODY FOUND. Christchurch, Last Night. The 'body of a recently born female infant was discovered in front of an unoccupied house at 271 Tuam street east this morning. The house is in the hands of painters, who are renovating the exterior, and the body was found close to a hedge by one of the men employed in the painting work.
