NEW ZEALAND ENTRIES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 9, 9.35 p.m. Sydney, August 9. At the horse sales, in the Clydesdale mares class, the following New Zealand sales were made: —On account of Mr. Tubman, North Canterbury, twenty-one mares, at prices ranging from 34 to 80 gns, averaging s<Jgns. On account of Mr. Blair two brought 50 and 55gns. On account of Mr. Bainbridge, five ranged from 37gns. to 50gns.; average, 46 2-sgns. On account of Ms. Wilson, Riccarton, six ranged from SOgns to 87y2gns.; average 6'2gns. On account of Mr. Kendry, Lyndhurst, three brought oOgns., Gsgns and 72 ] /3gns. each. Mr. Tubman purchased Maori Maid for lOOgns., and Lady Willoughby for 65gns.
A RECORD SALE. Received 9, 10.40 p.m. Sydney, April 9. At the draught horse sales 143 stallions realised .€18,198, and 181 marcs £8425. This is a record total.
