THE IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
MR. FISHER'S VIEWS. By Cable—Press Association-—Copyright. Frenmntle, August 9. Mr. Fisher, referring to the Imperial Conference, declared that a distinct step in advance was made, and said: "I place no limit to its growth and usefulness." A marked feature was the action of the Imperial Government in taking the representatives of the dominions into the inner family circle. This would go far to prevent difficulties arising, besides helping to settle them when thov did arise. He was glad to say that in future the dominions would be consulted wherever possible. The growth of the labor movement in England was assured, and nothing could stop its progress.
