NGAMOTU CLUB. The monthly competition for the St. Andrew's Cross was played on Saturday, 24 jpluyers competing. The weather conditions were perfect, and the greens in their usual excellent state, though on Thursday considerable damage had been done by high-heeled boots that should not have been worn on the links. The winner of tlie competition was C. H. Weston with the good net score of '7ft. The following are the six bewt card*, but it is worthy of note that of the 13 cards returned none exceeded 87:— Gross. On Saturday next a mixed foursomes will be played, and entries should be sent to the match committee by 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
