JERSEY BREEDERS.
- " ; THE ANMJAL MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Friday. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Jersey* Cattle' Breedeis' Association this morning was attended by forty representative breeders of t\e Dominion. The report stated that the association had a membership of two hundred and was financiallly.in a sound position. The work of the association had doubled during the last year and trebled since 1909. In tho next stud book wouil be the names of 3118 registered Jersey stock.
Mr. Watson, president, emphasiud the need of thoroughly testing the herds and the culling and slaujhtjr of neck that failed to pass the tests. The Governor accepted the office of patron. Mr. A. H. Halcome ;U <nui) was elected president, and Messrs. W. M. Taft (Onehunga) and W. V. Harkness vice-presidents. Messrs. 'V. K. b:>oth (Carterton) and W. V. Tlavkaess fill vacancies on the council.
