COAL VEND CASE
YESTERDAY'S PROCEEDINGS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 13, 9.30 p.m. Sydney, July 13. Mr. Knox, counsel for the colliery owners, again occupied the whole day's sitting in the vend case. His Honor interjected that he considered the evidence of Lane, representing Scott and Fell, discreditable, disclosing, as it did, discreditable transactions. Mr. Knox contended that there was no evidence to show that the shipping companies had charged excessively.
