INFERIOR WOOL PACKS.
PROTEST FROM SPINNERS. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Paris, .July 11. At a conference at Uoubaix Exhibition I'OO delegates, representing wool spinners and manufacturers in Europe, passed a resolution pointing out that n large proportion of wool growers did not realise sufficiently the danger from vegetable matter entering wool from inferior bags. Spinners and buyers were recommended to declare tliev would buy wools packed in proper bags, commencing with the season 10-12-13. It was mentioned that New South Wales was the chief offender, and a deputation waited on Sir fieorge Rcid on this question.
