WAREA. \ (FroM Our Own Correspondent.) The meeting of the hall committee was' held last Saturday night, when it was decided to call a general meeting for next Saturday night, July 15th. to start at 7.30 sharp, for the purpose of electing a new committee of management for the coming year. All those interested should be present and have a voice in the management of their public hall. A combined meeting ef the spinsters and bachelors was also held on Saturday night to arrange fon. a monster ball. A very strong committee was appointed, with Miss B. Aylward and Mr. B. Anderson as joint hon. secretaries. The bachelors' tax was fixed at 5s and ladies at 2s 6d. It was decided to engage a first-class band, and do the thin« in tip-top style. The date of the ballVas fixed for ,Tuly 2fith, so that the married folk have a treat in store.
