GISI3ORNE RACES. j SECOND DAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Nigflit. Clorious weather again prevailed for the second day of the Gisborne Racing Club's winter meeting. The sum of £7930 was put through the tote for the day, making a total of £15,870 for the meeting, as against £94(31 'for Vast year's meeting. Results:— Second Handicap Hurdles, 2 miles.— Game 1, Artie 2, Tekainui 3. Won easily by 12 lengths. Time, 4min. Maiden Hack Handicap, 5 furlongs.— Goldemar 1, Tyne Lass 2, Kathleen Tyne 3. Won with the greatest ease. Time, 1 min Cy 2 sec.
Waikanae Handicap, 7 furlongs.— Scotch 1, Iney 2, Sublime 3. Won by a , length. Time, lmin 34 4-ssec. * Te Hapara Steeplechase, about 2V 3 miles.—Okaihau 1, First Barrel 2. Won by a dozen lengths. Time, smin 30 l-ssec. A Second Hack Flat Handicap; fl furlongs.—Ardfert 1, Goldemar 2, Miss Ada 3. Won by a length. Time, lmin 20sec. Turanganui Hack Steeplechase. 2" miles.—Okaihau 1, The Plough & Won anyhow. Time, 4min 10 4-ssec. Farewell Handicap, 1 mile.—lney 1, I Scotch 2, Stourton 3. Won by a length. Time, lmin 48 3-ssec.
