Sadler (the Christchurch mystery case) will be heard on Thursday. SENSELESS PROSECUTION. Gisborne, Monday. A local firm of drapers was fined nominal amounts on sixteen charges of employing female assistants on Saturday, June 3 (King's Birthday), a. holiday prescribed liy the Factory Act. Defendants pleaded guilty, statin;; that the employees preferred a holiday on the following .Monday, which was publicly observed here.
