Butter.—The market is linn. The supply of New Zealand is running short. Choicest New Zealand butter 108s, Australian ' 102s, Danish 115s, Siberian 102s. Cheese. —The market is firm, with general and active demand. New Zealand 60s.
Hemp. —The market is quiet and steady, but is dependent on Manila reports. New Zealand good fair on spot £2l, fair grade £2O, fair current Manila £2O. For forward shipments it is generally believed that prices will advance. The output from Manila for the week was 2700 .bales. Wheat.—The market is very quiet and nothing doing. New Zealand longberried wheat ex granary, per quarter of 4901b., 35s Od; short-berried, 355. Oats—The demand on spot is good, but supplies are nearly exhausted. New Zealand oats, short sparrowbills, ex granary, per 3841b., 21s; New Zealand oats, Danish, per quarter of 3201b., 17s 6d. Beans.—Poor demand continues. New Zealand beans, f.a.q. (old crop), per 5041b., 355. Peas.—The market remains very depressed. New Zealand partridge, per 5041b., 89s.
Wool. —The market is very quiet and nothing doing. No change in prices.
