PARLIAMENTARY UNION
. A NEW ORGANISATION. By cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, June 29. A conference of members of the Houses of Lords and Commons and a number of visiting overseas Parliamentarians decided to form an organisation with a branch in each of the self-govern-ing States, to be entitled the Empire Parliamentary Union, the object being that each branch should arrange hospitality and facilities for travel in case of visiting members. Lords Derby and Blyth, Messrs. Harry Lawson, A. C. Beck, L. C. Amery, E. Crawshaw Williams, and two overseas representatives were appointed a committee to perfect the details of the scheme.
