RACING LICENSES REVOKED. By TetßgrojiJk—Presa Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Gazette contains a notice by tho Minister of Internal Affairs revoking all licenses issued under the Race Meeting* Act of IDO9, as from July 31st, 1911, with a view to issuing licenses in future on such dates as may be required, THE IRISH ENVOYS. Greymouth, Last Night. The Irish envoys, Messrs. Redmond and Donovan, arrived from Hokitika to-day, and wore mot by the Mayor, councillors and many prominent citizens. Iu the evening the Opera Houss was packed, when the delegates solicited support and sympathy in the cause. They received a very hearty reception. The sum of £4(10 was subscribed in the hall. The delegates were afterwards entertained. OPIUM-SMOKER FINED. Dunedin, Friday. At the Police Court, Kong Wob was charged with having opium in his possession in a form suitable for smoking. He was fined £3O and costs. WAIHI RETURN. Waihi, Last Night The Waihi return for the period ended June 10 is £55,087 Os od, from 27,31S tons. The total value of ore won from the mine to date, (corrected to October 29, IfllO) is £0,371,714. The dividends declared total £4,300,457.
