RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS. , / ' By Telegraph.—l'rwM Association. Palmerston X., Friday. At the National Dairy Show to-day there was a large attendance, despite the rain. The milk-testing compettnba for farmers' eons and daughters TU won by Fred Lumley, of the AsMniWk School. Lancaster's Princeev In the former the Manawatu hounds were on the ground. I A big smoke concert was held in th» evening. At the annual meeting of the Romney March Sheep Breeders' Association, Mr. A. Mathews (Wairarapa) wat elected president. A recommendation was made to vote £6O to the Wheelef memorial fund. A motion was carried that with a view of making an outlet for New Zealand rame special corr#» spondents he appointed abroad. Th# championship shields this year are at* lotted to Otago and Manawatu.
