REPUBLICANS IN OPEN REVOLT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright New York, June 20. The Republicans are in open revolt at the Reciprocity Bill, the .supporters of which are not offering to speak in explanation of their favoring the measure. The Republicans Assert that if reciprocity passes they will join the Democrats in an attempt to lower the duties on all manufactured products. Mr. Elihu Root's amendment is not forthcoming. Senators criticised the lack of explanation of the existence of the amendment, Mr. Root announced that he would propose it on Wednesday.
