OVERSEAS VISITORS IN LONDON

At the welcome given by the Parliamentary Committee to oversea visitors Lord Rosebcry concluded an eloquent speech by referring to the blessed union owing to a great Empire and great Republic joining hands to discourage war. Nevertheless, it was certain that thorough preparation for war must precede the hope of anything like general disarmament. Sir M. Bowell Monteno and Mr. Rhodes responded. Sir 'Win". Lyne proposed the toast of the Imperial Parliament, and Lord Curzon and Mr. A. Eminott, chairman of committees, responded.
GUESTS OF THE KING. London, June 19. The colonial delegates are now the guests of King George. They will. be attended by footmen, and will use the royal carriages. There are fifty-eight countries represented at the Coronation, the majority being special envoys. Out of eighty of the chief foreign delegations, fifty belong to royal houses.
