MANIPULATORS CAUGHT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, June 14. The Times states that there is evidence that t.he stringency in tin has reached a maximum. The bears yesterday were allowed to cover their spot commitments at about £230. The committee of the Metal Exchange did not favor the suggestion that it should be given power to declare that there was a corner in a market. It also disliked the proposed new form contract, which suggests that other descriptions of tin than Straits and Australian should be authorised as pood delivery.
