THE WOOL DUTY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Washington, June 11. In the debate on the wool tariff in the House of Representatives, Congressman Francis, of Ohio, favored a lower duty on manufactured woollens. He contended that the lowering of the duty on raw wool would wipe out the United States sheep industry.
