BRITISH POLITICS.

TRADE UNIONISTS AND THEIR POLITICAL RIGHTS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 12, 9.35 p.m. London, June 12. Mr. Osborne, on behalf of the Trade Union Political Freedom League, demands that the Government Bill be amended in order to separate the political fund from ordinary contributions. He believes that the consent of a majority of the members should be obtained before the objects of the union are altered. In order to include party politics it was necessary that objectors should not be called upon to sign a form of exemption, which would make them subjects for persecution.
