ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
SUICIDE BY STRYCHNINE. ; By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Tuesday. At the inquest on the body of Samuel Taylor, chemist, the evidence indicated suicide by means of strychnine. It was stated that deceased's accounts were ia a muddled state, but there was no suspicion of misappropriation. A JOCKEY INJURED. Auckland, Tuesday. Flynn, a jockey, was injured at Ellerslie this morning while schooling the horse Red McGregor. He has been removed to a private hospital with a broken rib pressing on the liver. Flynn belongs to Hawera.
