The Times, in discussing Waihi affairs, emphasises the necessity for all mines issuing frequent development reports. The paper is doubtful if the Waihi mine will benefit by turning out the directors, but much good might accrue from the appointment of a consulting engineer and an exhaustive report by an independent expert.
