CHARGES OF FORGERY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, May 11. At the Police Court, Charles Kiwi .Wilkinson pleaded not guilty to a charge of having forged a cheque for £GO on tlie Bank of New Zealand. Wilkinson and Boyd were charged jointly with having forged and uttered a cheque for .£135 purporting to be .signed by T. S. Collins. The police produced a statement by accused admitting the offence. It appears that the two accused agreed to the forgery. Will <inson suggested operating on Collins' account up to £2OO. Boyd disagreed, hut they fiiully agreed to make it up to £135. Accused pleaded not guilty, and were committed to the Supreme Court on all the charjres. Boyd was admitted to bail, himself £,>o hnd another surety of £l3O and two of £25 each; Wilkinson, himself £IOO, two others of £SO and one of £IOO.
