It is supposed to lie the result of a certain spray used to destroy eddlin moth. The scientists are cautious in their statements, but sufficient reliance may be placed on the discovery to justify the postponement of the Federal and State investigation, on which it was intended to expend £IO,OOO. The prevention of bitter pip would mean the saving of millions to apple-growers.
