Mr. Verran, Premier of South Australia, who is visiting Sydney, in an interview; referring l to the Renmark labor troubles, said the poliey of his Government was straight for compulsory arbitration. It had no sympathy for unions that professed revolutionary tactics. The Government intended to introduce a compulsory arbitration Bill, the principal provision of which would be to make every union and every association of employees to register. Under the new law, when once Parliament says all industrial disputes must be decided by law, then the striker will be treated in the same way as any other law-breaker. The Government did not fear legitimate unipnism, but the leaders of the Renmark dispute were men with revolutionary intentions, who made no secret of their opposition to Labor*
