A MONTREAL TRADE ROUTE. By cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Received 8, 9.20 p.m. London, May 8. The Shipping Gazette states that enquiries are being made at Liverpool for six steamers of from 7000 to 8000 tons deadweight on time charter between Montreal and Australia. The Gazette adds that doubtless a good share of the traffic heretofore passing via New York could profitably be flealt with at Montreal.
