ALLEGED CARGO-BROACHING. By Telegraph.—Press Asssciation. Christchurch, Last Night. Five seamen belonging to the steamer Indrabarah, arrested on a charge of pillaging cargo of a total value of £22 3s, the property of the Tyser Line, were brought before the Court at Lyttelton on Saturday, and after hearing the evidence of the chief officer the case was adjourned till Friday. TO REFORM A GIRL. Christchurch, Last Night. Elsie Joan Atkinson, a well-dressed young woman, who was alleged to be morally deficient, pleaded guilty to the theft of £6 10s and was ordered to 1 be detained in Lyttelton Gaol for two years for reformatory treatment, and kept apart from other prisoners.
