TARAXAKI RIFLES v. GUARDS. Owing to wet weather last Thursday, it was found impossible to fire the proposed match between the Taranaki Rifles and Guards, and the match will therefore eventuate on Thursday, when the Guards will be represented by Lieut. Beadle. Col.-Sergt. Hartnell, Sergts. Olliver and Evans, Corporals Bruce and Johnson, Privates Short and Nichols.
