THE BATH-ROOM TRAGEDY
AN ACCIDENTAL HANGING. By Telegraph.—Press Asaaciatinn. Wellington, Last Night. At the inquest concerning the death of Ronald Black, aged 17 years, who was found hanging by a strap in the bathroom at his home, it was stated that deceased had been interested by a certain picture which showed a boy or boys hanging by means of straps round their necks without fatal results, and without being affected in any way. Deceased appeared to have been greatly affected by this picture, and remarked upon it while staying in a whare at Karaka Bay, asking his companions if they had seen this picture of boys hang-| ing with straps round their necks. Deceased was a very impressionable boy. The inquest was adjourned till tomorrow to permit of the boys to whom deceased had spoken of the picture being called.
Mr. Blake, father of deceased, said he wiahpi! to make a statement in regard to the boy's disposition and the possible cause of his death.
The Coroner said he quite undcrstoo his fc'ings, and he could give the evidence if he desired to do so when the inquest was resumed.
