ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
FATAL FALL FROM A TRAIX. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. James Anderson, aged 15 years, employed in the job-printing department of the Otago Daily Times as assistant proof reader, was the victim of a fatal accident in the Caversham tunnel this evening. Deceased, who lived at Fairfield, was a passenger by the 5.15 train. While the train was going through the tunnel he went out of the carriage on to the platform and fell under the train, the body being badly mangled.
A SERIOUS INJURY. Gisbome, Friday. Councillor Jackson continues in a very critical condition. It was found that the handle of the steel' upon which he fell had penetrated the boweto and bladder. HAND BLOWN OFF. Taihape, Friday. A boy, six years of age, named Fred Lucot, had a hand blown off by a detonator at Raurimu. The sufferer wan sent to the Hamilton Hospital
