Wolff, M.P., in replyim-. when presented with the freedom of Belfast, recalled that, when twenty-three years of age, he and the late Sir Edward Harland, had proposed to start a shipbuilding yard at Liverpool, the harbor authorities had replied that they were, too young to start such an undertaking. They accordingly moved to Belfast, and the firm was now employing 14,000 men.
