TARATA DOG TRIAL CLUB

The Tarata Dog Trial Club has received very good entries for the meeting on Thursday, 20th inst., and should the weather be favorable, a record attendance is assured. Sixty-one dogs have been entered for the various events, which include twenty-five in the local and thirty-six in open events. The club deserves congratulations upon these record entries. The club committee has been busy for several days getting the ground ready, and also Mr. T. Waite, who has charge of the booth. The ground this year is very conveniently situated, being only a few minutes walk from the post office and store. Mr. Marlow, secretary of the North Island Dog Trial Association, has consented to act as judge. The committee has made arrangements for coaches to leave Inglcwood on arrival of'north and south trains. In thci evening a smoke concert is to be held; ,for which all arrangements are well in hand.
