The Easter weather was very disappointing on the whole, the westerly weather, which prevailed until Sunday night, bringing up its usual heavy rain. On Sunday night the wind veered round to the south-east and made tilings disngreeable until 10 a.m. on Monday, when the mist cleared and the sun came out in its glory, but rather too late for visitors to make the usual trips. The road to the new house is well on its way, and all that is required are a few fine* days to complete it.
