MR MASSEY ON TOUR
By Telegraph. —Press Association. Alexandra, Last Night. Mr. W. F. Massey, leader of the Opposition, left Roxburgh at midday, in company with Mr. R. Scott, M.P. for Tuapcka, and drove to Alexandra, where he delivered an address in the evening. At the close he answered several questions to the entire satisfaction of one and all. During the speech he spoke on the land question at some length, the Hine inquiry, and matters of finance., He deplored the absence of any irrigation in Central Otago, and advised them to procure the services of Rev. Mason to find artesian water. The party will leave for Dunedin in the morning, and on Wednesday night Mr. Massey will speak at Dunedin, after which he goes on to the north, and will return south again next month.
