LONDON WOOL SALES. Wellington, Last Night. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date, Ist inst:— The wool sales closed strong on Saturday. The market is steady, and quotations unchanged since our last cablegram. There were 205,000 bales .sold at the sales, and 72,000 were taken for the Continent, 3000 for America, and 37,000 were held over.
